These are the rules of what we expect from in character behavior. Several of these are common sense but they need to be said anyways.
OOC/IC Separation MUST be maintained! I said it once in the OOC rules, I'll say it again here. Keep what you know OOC in the OOC. Bring it IC when you have no reason of knowing it and there will be penalties.
Make an effort. There are to many places that allow one line posts. We expect you to put some thought into you post. This channel may not move as fast as some but the quality is what we are shooting for. If it takes you 10 minutes to make a good post, take 10 minutes. It's not a race. Put forth the effort and you will be rewarded with effort in return.
Do your best to spell check your posts and make sure they flow properly. Nothing breaks immersion and having your head in the game like reading a post full of typonese trying to figure out what you are saying. If you use LMAO or LOL, or anything like that in your post, you're doing it wrong and expect to be talked to.
This is a werewolf game, treat it as such. You are all playing monsters. The monsters that still strike fear into the hearts of men. Monsters that regenerate in seconds! A gunshot is as inconvenient to these creatures we are supposed to be as a bloody nose is to us. There will be violence, it's expected. When you heal like that, behavior happens differently. Try to remember that and take nothing that happens IC personally. Just because someone broke your character's nose doesn't mean they hate you. It means you were punched with the strength of a being that can tear a car open like a tin can. Keep it in perspective.
Mark yourself AFK if you have to run. In IRC it takes 2 minutes. /nick Jay-MakingDinner is all we want! Let us know when you have to run away for a while so we know not to wait for you. Be nice. I have seen to many good sessions of RP die because someone had to run to the store to get some ice cream for their pregnant wife. If you can't write a message at least mark your nick AFK so play can continue and you can insert yourself later.
We have some house rules concerning rolls. Take heed. We use a KISS method here (Keep It Simple Stupid). If you could try the roll again until you get it right, go ahead and RP the action as passing. Examples are: Shifting outside combat; Dedicating clothing; Attuning a fetish item; Using a gift that doesn't effect other players; shooting a stationary target (I.E. a can on a fence); Punching the ground... you get the idea.
The Books are a guideline. I normally don't have a book in front of me while play for referencing. If you think I'm doing something that's far and outside what the rules intend or say, Shoot me a PM. You will never be punished for this action, but the final word always falls to the one running the event.
A certain quality of RP is expected to show you have put forth some effort into your post. This is more a guideline then a rule, but expect to be talked to if you drag down the RP with constant one line posts. If it continues there may be XP penalties involved if the RP is effected by one liners.
One on One combat will be done in rounds of 5. Please see the rules on this in the settings page.
