| DESCRIPTION: Gavreth is a personable, if not cunning individual, and is found to be quite attractive and alluring. He has a notable Shadow Lord heritage in his features, and is usually found with the common expression of a cocky smirk. He is very confident, and many times even arrogant about his musical talent and even just himself sometimes. He is often found to be somewhat jittery and full of energy, while at other times he can seem irritable and paranoid. | |
BACKGROUND:[/td[td]]Gavreth was raised in Sighisoara, Romania as the only child of a less than affluent single mother. He never knew his father, nor was taught anything about the heritage which he was a part of. As a child, he was often picked on and harassed due to the awkwardness the Rage within him caused, the feeling around him making other people uncomfortable in his presence. He turned to music as a way of escaping everyday life, and found himself playing in multiple local bands around the city. It wasn't after until his change, however, that he would actually find himself signed to a record label. For years, Gavreth attempted to escape Garou life by investing his time and energy into his music and touring, and it was during these years that he has found himself doing drugs regularly, and his cocaine addiction began to flourish. He was very much what one would consider a reluctant Garou. He enjoyed visiting the United States, in particular, and after a season of touring he spent some time in Missouri. It was here that he not only became more aware of his standing as a Garou, but met a Kinfolk of particular importance to him.
During his time at the Missouri Sept, Gavreth further and further began to come to the realization that the path to advancement and personal power was not through shunning the society that he was unwillingly a part of for so long, but the opposite. The more he could maneuver himself within the Garou world, the more opportunities that would open up to him. Not only that, but the inner wolf inside of him instinctively enjoyed the communion of other wolves. It was during this time that it seemed the reluctant Garou finally accepted what he was, and embraced it.
Nicola Douglas was working with the police department of the city, ironically, when Gavreth met her. It was odd that she was in any way attracted to him, but he very much favored her, both for her appearance that appealed to his lust, and her usefulness as a police officer and Kinfolk to have at his disposal. They began seeing each other in what could loosely be called a relationship, with the eventual culmination in Gavreth's claiming of her.
For a time, things went as expected, until it came to light eventually to the mortals in the city of Nicola's drug use, and she was terminated from her office. This scandal also affected Gavreth, yet in a mixture of positive and negative. To the fans, the everyday people listening to his music, the metal community only found it to be awesome that he was not only sleeping with a cop, but had corrupted her in some fashion. However, the corporate executives of his record label, are less than amused. They have begun slighting him subtly by not booking him with as many high profile tours, and not renewing endorsement contracts on his behalf. As the situation continues to worsen, the two have decided to embark to somewhere different. Perhaps the time off from the spotlight will do both of them some good. |
