Awakening on the peek of a mighty mountain was one of the most incredible experiences of Zachariahs life, he felt the ice cold air and the heady feeling of the lack of oxygen. He looked out on the endless peeks and knew this place was not natural in the strictest sense, "Where am I?" His mind was hazy, he was sure that the Alpha had just beaten him into a mangled corpse only a few minutes ago, but here he stood completely fine bereft of pain.
Suddenly a howl of wind fiercer then any the young Fang had ever felt whipped around him nearly knocking him from his mighty height. The mountain beneath his feet rumbled as if trying its hardest not to collapse beneath whatever it was which held it together.
Zachariah looks up to find the cause of such wind his eyes take in a host of mighty birds of prey, they encircled the mountain top and looked onto the Ahroun as if he were dinner speaking among themselves in a language he could not understand, but Zachariah stood strong and silent.
Then suddenly a shadow engulfed the entire peak and with a screech of great power falcon himself landed before his young son. His talons crushed the mountain rock as he landed and caused many landslides lower down the peek.
Zachariah despite his grace nearly fell with the rock landing on two knees before the great bird.
"You drop to your knees before me!" It sounds as if the mighty totem laughs at him as it speaks. "Your pride is this mountain little fang, it appears so strong, and so noble but its foundation is not but sand." Another mighty screech fills the air. "You have much to accomplish, but a single misstep and you can be plunged into the abyss for now, rebuild your pride on stronger stuff, you have passed your test, you are hunters hunted prove to me and this sept you are worthy of second thought. So arrogant as to think you should defeat the alpha, what worth is an ahroun alpha if he loses in combat! Arrogance!" His great wings begin to beat and he rises from the peek as do the other birds and then suddenly He swoops down and drives his talons into the mountain destroying it instantly sending Zachariah plummeting to the ground.
"Rebuild your shattered pride and prove yourself worthy of the blood I have granted you!"
