The experience costs are as thus:
Experience Point Cost
Attribute: current rating x 4
Ability: current rating x 2
Specialization in abilities requires you have at least 4 in that ability. It costs the same as above.
New Ability: 3
Gift: Level of Gift x 3
Gift from other breed/auspice/tribe: Level of Gift x 5
Rage: current rating
Gnosis: current rating x 2
Willpower: current rating
Backgrounds Current rating x5*
* The backgrounds can be obtained through RP putting in the effort time wise. If you choose this route you do NOT need to spend XP on them. However, if you wish to vapor play obtaining them and not actively scene it out, you will need to spend the XP.
Note: Combat abilities must new be balanced with Social abilities on a 1 to 1 basis. You must buy a point in a social before you can buy a point in a combat skill. Examples: You want a point in brawl, first you must buy a point of Computers You want a point in stealth, first you must buy a point in Law. These are only examples, Not actual comparisons. This is to control the twinking and combat heavy expenses going on.
Keep this in mind when making your request

Note: I will No longer be accepting in advance XP requests (IE Jay is going to be working on going to the shooting range so I would like +1 firearms) Instead, put in the vapor play with your character leaving to do something or coming back from doing something worthy of the increase and when you feel you've earned it, you may submit the request and cite that work already done.
Guidelines! Typically the following time guidelines apply: Skills: 2 weeks to a month of work depending on the increase you are asking for Attributes: 1- 2 months depending on the increase. going from 2-3 is easier then 3-4 Gifts: Require 1 week of Training with the proper spirit Rage/willpower/gnosis: 1-2 weeks per point depending on dedication.
Any additional questions should be directed to the ST staff. Thank you for your cooperation.

As we now have pack's forming in the game. I have implimented the use of the Pack Tactics background to be purchased by pack members. You must RP out regular training with your packmates.Pack Tactics BackgroundYour life experience includes special training working as one mind with a pack. You can anticipate your packmates, striking in deadly concert. When you are facing common foes alongside at least two other packmates, you may claim +1 die pool to your Physical Challenges (Dex and Strength rolls) equal to the lowest level of Pack Tactics among those packmates (including yourself). - Example: Lowest background in group is 3. All pack mates gain +3 to Dex and Strength rolls as long as facing common foes.
- Unrestricted: The Pack Tactics Background may be increased in play without special Storyteller approval by simply spending experience. Your expertise grows as you spend time drilling in tactics alongside your fellow pack members.

LORES AND LEARNING LORES!
We have a moon bridge... We have resources and places of learning now. To learn new lores you must RP crossing the moon bridge. After that you must make an Int+Occult roll representing 6 hours of learning with a teacher. (Most will be willing). You need to accumulate a total of 30 successes with these rolls to learn 1 new point of lore. Each time you roll must be on a new trip considering you have spent 6 hours there and need to return to sept duties. This is rigorous learning, so while you are working on lores, you cannot be learning a different social skill.
POST THE RESULTS OF THESE ROLLS WITH YOUR EXPERIENCE EXPENSE POST! WITHOUT A HUNTEDSPIRIT TIME STAMP AND FORMATTED RESULT TOTALING 30 I WILL NOT APPROVE IT!
Just the results people... not the whole roll.

After a meeting with the staff, it has been decided that the cost of experience expenditures will return to by the book spending. As a result, to continue to ensure a fluid increase to your sheets through xp, we are implimenting a restriction on monthly spends.
Finally, if you have any question whether or not we will allow something not covered here, ask. We will attempt to be consistent with our rulings. If a rule, merit, or gift not covered here is unbalancing as written, we may add to the house rules. We reserve the right to reject any unbalanced/loophole exploiting use of the game mechanics. We also reserve the right to change a previous house rule or ruling going forward in order to preserve game balance. These rulings will not apply retroactively.
