These are the policies that are posted in the general areas for everyone to see. They are rules imposed on the Caern by the Alpha. Anyone disobeying is subject to harsh disciplinary action.
1: Kinfolk: In exchange for free food, shelter, and protection from all the things that threaten you, the following is expected of you:
i: You will help with the daily maintenance of the Sept without complaint. This includes but is not limited to dishes, laundry, sweeping, weeding, wood chopping and any other daily tasks that are required.
ii: You will be assigned as handmaid to a Garou and will see to their daily needs and any other reasonable duties that are asked of you by your assigned Garou. You are not limited exclusively too this Garou.
iii: You are expected to obey any Garou of any rank in the Caern as your superiors and follow any reasonable or lawful orders given by them.
iv: You will submit to be part of the breeding program on the Caern to help produce viable and changing Garou offspring, NO EXCEPTIONS.
v: You are free to leave the Caern and our protection at any time if you cannot agree with these rules.
vi: Kinfolk are NOT allowed to carry weapons on sept! weapons usable by kinfolk are largely ineffective against the enemies that are faced by Garou. Any weapons found being carried by kinfolk will be confiscated, kept in trust, and returned upon departure from sept grounds!
vi: Kinfolk are not allowed to possess silver items of any kind for any reason whatsoever NO EXCEPTIONS! Knowing full well the reaction garou have to these items it only serves to show ill and hostile intent against your protectors. Violation of this rule will mean expulsion from the Sept AT MINIMUM!
2: Garou are expected to cooperate and train together. You may be asked to switch partners if you are training with the same one to often. Variety is the spice of life.
3: All Garou must participate in the protection of the Caern when it is threatened. When the Rally horn calls, you MUST answer. No exceptions!
i: Black Spiral dancers/Black Furies WILL BE KILLED ON SIGHT! These abominations are threats to all of Garou society and must be put down like the mad dogs they are.
4: Other were-creatures are welcome to visit but may NOT take up residency in the Caern. Overstay your welcome and you will be asked to leave, nicely... once.
5: Any one is free to come and go from the Caern as they please. However if this leads to a threat to the Caern there WILL be disciplinary action taken. Residency is encouraged for this reason.
6: All new Garou seeking residency must pass a rite of passage to be assigned permanent housing or hold position in the Sept.
7: No kinfolk will hold rank or position within the Sept, officially or unofficially.
8: The Beta speaks with the Alpha's voice and acts with the Alpha's hand. Give him the respect due of that position. Most issues can be handled by the Beta.
9: It is the right of ANY resident of the Caern to request audience with the Alpha. You may invoke this right at any time for any reason. You have the right to not answer any questions about why you have requested this audience and you have the right to be seen within 24 hours of the request being made.
10: Cabins are private and will remain private. If a cabin is known to be in residence to someone, and you willfully enter that cabin, locked, unlocked, forced entry or otherwise without knocking as well as being invited inside, there will be very severe punishments!
11: We are now at WAR! Special rules are being implemented. This has Special meaning to our people. The time for caring and understanding is over. We either work together, or we die.
i: Anyone found to be sowing discord will be brought before the Philidoxes for judgement on Violation of the Safety of our home.
ii: Respect for rank will be strictly observed at this time. Anyone found not respecting of rank or orders from higher members of station will be subject to discipline. Either on the spot by the slighted party, or you may be dragged before the Philodoxes or even the Alpha for punishment.
